Heartland Ephphatha Ministries exists to meet the spiritual needs of the Deaf in South Dakota. We are a ministry of the ELCA South Dakota Synod based at Peace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Click here to read our mission statement.
Join us for interpreted worship at Peace Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls every Sunday at 10:10 a.m. Begining on September 7, 2008 our worship time changes to 9:00 a.m.

Maedora Larson, who recently lost her sister Laverna Vogt.
Joan Sigdestad has suffered multiple strokes following her cancer. Pray for her comfort through this tough process. Also pray for her family that they find comfort in Christ.
Dorothy Sparks sent an e-mail....She went to the hospital and had a coronary angoigram. They found high pressure in her lung so the surgery is on hold. She said it is complicated and doctors will meet Friday to decide what to do next. Continued prayer appreciated.

HEM Served Breakfast at the Banquet
We served 168 guests at the Banquet for breakfast on June 27. We had 11 Heartland Ephphatha members help serve the meal. We served French Toast with Brisket and fruit. Many of our members had this experience for the first time. Thanks to all who helped.

"SIGN UP" will be a Wednesday night 'Sunday School' for deaf kids and children of deaf adults. We will learn about God while using sign language. If you are interested in attending, please contact Jason Andera jason@peacelutheran.com
